Christmas Tide......(438)

Today's Stroll piece is an old Shepherd's Bush chart, Christmas Folio. I made my pillow just as shown on the chart; I was even able to find the exact fabric they used. I think I did this in 1995.

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  1. I recognize the fabric. It's a cut from afghan fabric. I used it for the annual Christmas pillow I used to design.

  2. I recognize the SB Folio and the fabric you used to stitch it on. What a super blast from the past!

  3. 438!! Each day I expect to hear that it's your last wrap up post.....this is a sweet pillow! Of course I have no recollection of the fabric or stitch as I wasn't stitching in the 90's! I can't believe your still going strong with your posts!

  4. Love it Stasi! I'm a big fan of Shepherd Bush kits and although I'm not familiar with this one I really love it. You have done so many wonderful stitches. Will you continue into 2018'? I'm wondering just how many you have. You have done an exceptional job on all. RJ

  5. Just caught up on your posts from December 1st.......I have to say of all the things your created.......your daughter is the best. What a beautiful thing to make a difference in the life of a child. How your family will be enriched with the addition of Esther and James. I sure there may be rough spots ahead. It takes special people to take on the added responsibility. I loved the doll in bubble wrap for Esther to put on her back. It is what she knows. And James with the money....I wonder what it means to him.....how strange it all must be for them....so glad Esther is warming to you. Knew she would and a possible stitcher! Oh my! Not to mention ALL the stockings you have stitched. Yes, I think you have stitched even more than you realized. Wishing you and your growing family a very blessed new year.
