Strolling Down Memory Lane......(156)

So when is something considered vintage? Antique?  Today I'm sharing three small purses I made for my grandmothers back in the early 70's, so 40+ years old. I have no idea who the designers were, but do know they were kits. All three are embroidered, two with cotton fiber and one with wool. I just saw how a  friend displayed her antique purses by hanging in a column and think I will do that rather than having them hidden on a shelf. Hope you enjoy!

On the current stitching front, I finished another gift (will share next week), completd the stitching on Threads That Bind and started my younger daughter's Christmas stocking.

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  1. Love your daughter's Christmas stocking!

Think the first and third purses are Erica Wilson designs, not sure about the middle one. I think I have the first one in my stash--do you think it's aged long enough?
