A Lady's Cabinet.....(271)

Okay, so I'm going to pat myself on my back for this one.... LOL...this was on line class from Judy O'Dell at Just A Thought Designs that I did back in 2009-2010. No face to face instruction....no helpful compadres at the ready....just me reading directions..over and over...on my own..in my kitchen....but I did it and was tickled with the results!!! May I present..... ta da.....A Lady's Cabinet!!!

Oops...I almost forgot....I finished the pre-stitching for my Sue Hillis class at Salty Yarns Jamboree in October. This will be mounted and made into an easel stand.

Thanks for indulging me and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  3. The Lady's Cabinet is glorious! You have every reason to be proud of such a beautifully stitched and finished piece - marvelous work! I'm very curious about the scale - how tall is it?

The Sue Hillis sampler is cool. Looks like every letter has a slightly different style. Shall look forward to seeing the completed project.

  5. Stasi, I was impressed with your other cabinet but this one even outdoes the other, I cannot believe how much time and work goes into the stitching and putting this together. The theme and colors are outstanding. ( I went to the cloisters yesterday and saw embroideries from one thousand years ago, I hope someone treasures these cabinets as long!)

  7. Outstanding! You should be proud to get that finish done by yourself! Love the colors. I finished my Pre-stitch, too. Just started laying out the buttons.
