Greetings my friends!!!
I have been doing a lot of soul searching recently and have decided to take a break from my blog. Things are getting challenging with my parents and we have a lot of tough decisions to make in the upcoming weeks/months. I am finding it hard to focus and keep up with the blog. Then it gets so long between posts, that it seems monumental to catch up. I hope you understand. I so enjoy sharing our mutual love of needlework and will try to keep up with your blogs as best I can. You all have my email and can chat with me if you'd like that way.
Rest assured I will continue to stitch, as this is my sanity, helps me unwind and turn off the worrisome thoughts that float around my head about what's happening in our country right now.
I will hope to be back at some point, but am leaving this open ended at this time.
Thanks for all your support in my stitching journey...I wish you all the best!!!
Keep that needle in your hand and thanks for your "twisted threads" of friendship!
Fondly,
Stasi
Stasi I can totally understand this and of course your family comes first. I am praying for you and your parents. I agree with you. My stitching comforts me also in these distressing times. Take care dear friend. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteWe all understand Stasi.
ReplyDeleteYou take care of you also.
See you later!
Marilyn
Hi Stasi: We do understand and we will m is you, it is hard taking care of parents I know that for sure.
ReplyDeleteGods Blessings on your absence.
Catherine
So sorry to hear that you are leaving us for a while. I'll be thinking of you and wish you and your family well.
ReplyDeleteYou have been on my mind and I continue to keep you and your parents in my prayers daily, Stasi. Take care of yourself. See you out in the wilds of stitching land.
ReplyDeleteStasi - We all understand. Family comes first. And more importantly, your health comes the real first. You need to take care of yourself and your family. You don’t need an extra obligation pulling at you like feeling the need to post. It truly would become an obligation and not a joy like I believe posting has been for you in the past. We will all miss your antidotes and your finish parade. We hope to see you back again when time allows. Hugs, prayers and warm thoughts to you and your family in the coming months and year.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your very kind words; they are much appreciated. Sadly, you posted as Anonymous, but I have a feeling I know who you are. Hugs back my friend and thanks or your support!!!
DeleteI can totally understand your decision, Stasi... just glad I'll still be able to see your beautiful projects on IG :) It's so hard and sad watching our parents decline. Mine have been gone 10 and 5 years now (dad and then mom) and I remember well how trying those days were. I miss them desperately even after all this time. I know how you treasure your days with them. And yes, where would we be without our stitching in these increasingly difficult days. I just shake my head in disbelief as I watch the news each night. You take care now and stay in touch! ♥
ReplyDeleteI'll be keeping your parents and family in my prayers. I know how hard it is to take care of your parents.
ReplyDeletePost when you can, and I hope your stitching brings you comfort and relief too. 🥰
