Strolling a Garden Part II (126)

So, we made it to Baltimore yesterday and were back today in time for my parents to see their great-grandson's baseball game.

I'm showing the "innards" of the Garden Variety Long Pocket today. There is a slit in the back of the pocket and these smalls are stored in there connected by cording. A gold ring slides up and down the silk section of the pocket making the opening accessible, or not. Clockwise from upper left are a scissor holder (still need to get a tiny pair), pincushion, strawberry and needle book.

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  1. The long pocket is a clever design, isn't it? Beautiful smalls inside. Love the pink strawberry.
