Today's Stroll post is a "why didn't I think of that" project? Betsy Stinner from Earth Threads came out with a collection of stitch diagrams on laminated index cards called Ring of Stitches in 1999. There were four different sets you could purchase for a total of 93 stitches. Many
of the cards had little hints/tips on them such as "When finishing
stitching for the day, always re-thread your needle so that you will be
ready to stitch the next day". She then designed a little pre-finished bag to hold the cards. I always think of Betsy when I refer to this!

ReplyDeleteVery cool share today and what a lovely bag to store the cards in!
ReplyDeleteWasn't Betsy a joy to take classes from. Her preface pieces were so cute and I learned a lot from her. She is missed.
ReplyDeleteDelightful bag to hold the stitch cards! (and thanks for mentioning how many were in the full set - what I'm watching on ebay must be 2 of the 4...)
