Autumn Harvest.....(286)

Well I made it to Ocean City without any issues...even made a quick stop at the Blue Crow Antique Mall on the drive up. Some ladies were already there stitching in the lobby so, after I unpacked, I joined them and got this little deer done. It's from a chart called Leaping Stag by Threadwork Primitives.

My Stroll piece for today is an old freebie chart from LA Broderie, Autumn Harvest, stitched in 1999. I chose to finish as a small hanging on green banding. I used Caron Collection Wildflowers Fiesta , one of my favorite colors, to stitch it with. Very simple piece--I added a tassel at the bottom (sorry I cut that off the photo) and have it hanging from a small twig.

Today is a "play" day here...meaning no classes...but hopefully a lot of stitching, sharing and laughing will ensue!

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

Stasi
