Well, it is after 6:00PM and I am just getting to the blog....which is lucky for you because for my Stroll piece today I'm going to post a brand spanking new finish. I've had two fabulous classes so far and this finish is from the Sue Hillis class. We laced our needlework, made the easel, mounted our piece on the easel and Voila.....a lovely display! We all got to pick our fabrics from a great selection, so everyone's is different.
The next class was with Gloria Moore from Milady's Needle. Here is a shot of the project...we painted the spool and started stitching the band that will wrap around it. Pretty cute bag don't ya think???
And just so you don't think it's all fun and games here.....yesterday I got the next installment of the Blue Sampler Band SAL completed. But trust me...it is a LOT of fun here!!! Tomorrow is my anticipated gold work class and I heard good things from the ladies who had that class today.
Hope you're having a great weekend wherever you are. Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!
