Acorns a plenty......( 280)

I have been noticing and hearing that there is a plethora of acorns this year...you know what that means!!!

Today's Stroll piece features this tiny nugget and was a freebie chart from Tink Boord-Dill. I stitched this in 2000 as one of the ornament of the month clubs at Twisted Threads. I would take a freebie chart and change it up somehow by switching fabric, fibers, adding embellishments, etc.. Our customers then had the option to buy an inexpensive kit for the "updated" version or do their own thing with the original chart.

It's going to be a glorious day here, though a little on the warm side for October...mid 80's. I've been reminiscing about my daughters wedding last year..today is her first anniversary. So a shout out to Jess and Alex and here are a couple photos from that special day courtesy of M-Pact Studios.

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  3. So cute! The squirrels have been going mad in our yard! We have no poodle left to chase them away. Henry is little and afraid, Murphy is old and does not care. ;)
    What lovely, lovely wedding portraits!♥
