Today's Stroll piece was a gift to my mother-in-law which I retrieved when she passed. It was a little needlepoint kit for an eyeglass case that was pre-finished with a zipper down one side and the bottom. All I had to do was stitch and zip...voila!!! Very cheerful!
I finished the next installment on the Blue Sampler Band SAL and..........
.... worked on the pincushion for My Stitcher's Heart by Hands on Design. The plan is to work on the box finishing after Salty Yarn's Jamboree with my fellow SAL-ers, but I'm hoping to work on finishing some of the other parts there as well.....time will tell!!!
Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship! Have a great day!

The sunflower piece makes me smile, Stasi. Good for you on getting the next installment stitched on the iStitch piece. Your pincushion is looking good.
ReplyDeleteStasi it makes me happy that you got your sunflower case back after your MIL passed. Nice progress!
ReplyDeleteThe sunflower case is so pretty! I remember those cases - I stitched a chickadee on one for my mom but have no idea what happened to it....
ReplyDeleteLove that last alphabet on the Blue Sampler SAL!
Stasi, Beautiful progress on your pieces. The Blue Sampler Band SAL is coming along beautifully. Do you have much left?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you rescued the sunflower case, so bright and cheerful! What is Salty Yarn's Jamboree?
ReplyDeleteLove your sunflower case...it's a beauty. Great progress on your Sampler Band. Great job as always. RJ
