Stitch Strolling Away......(182)

As I begin my Stitch Stroll into July I'm realizing I've been posting every day for 1/2 a year and still at it!!! It's a challenge to keep up with this but I am enjoying revisiting some old pieces and  creating new ones to share. There are often special memories attached to certain projects and it's been nice to recollect them. If you've been following from the beginning, thanks for sticking with me. If you're a newcomer, rest assured, there is lots more to come........ Hello, my name is Stasi and I'm addicted to needlework!!!  LOL

For July, I'm starting out with some patriotic pieces in honor of our Independence Day here in the US. First up is The Courtship by Merry Cox. This was a class I took in 2001 at In Stitches in Alexandria, VA but didn't stitch until 2007-2008. The scrimshaw piece was something I ordered from Marcy Wharton to commemorate my 30th anniversary and I pinned it on the front of this. The two silver "people" are needle holders that fit in the two pockets on the inside.

I received the next installment on the Blue Band Sampler SAL yesterday..it comes every Friday like clockwork....and got one band and part of another done last night.

I'm feeling like a little patriotic stitching, so I'm off to find something in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship....keep cool!
