1776....(193)

Today will be the last day for a patriotic piece. It's something I stitched for my Dad many, many moons ago; it's a crewel piece so definitely from the 70's. I fear I probably mounted it on sticky board.....I know....I know....but that's before I was "educated"!!! LOL

I worked a little on a small finishing piece yesterday and will share as soon as it's complete.

I succumbed and signed up for the Summer Schoolhouse Lessons  from Brenda Gervais, after all, they are smalls!!! I love the first one in the series and can't wait to see what follows.

I also did a little stash enhancing on FB.

Feathered Nest Pin Book by Stacy Nash (club piece) and A Bee C by Lizzie Kate

Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

  1. Your 1776 piece is super, Stasi. Nice stash enhancement; I really like the Stacy Nash piece. I succumbed to the WTNT set as well. I look forward to seeing what you have been finishing.

  3. I love 1776, Stasi, it's really fun to see the pieces we stitched when we were young. You're inspiring me to share mine...though I only have a couple.
I'm enjoying watching the Summer Schollhouse Lessons progress, and look forward to seeing what's next. I can't wait to see what you're finishing project is...hmmm lol
    Love the stash...good for you!

  4. Love the 1776 piece--and didn't we ALL mount stuff on sticky boards in the 70's? That was the best thing (at the time) . . .

  5. 1776 is lovely! And yes, the things we all did with (to!) our needlework in the 70's - makes one shudder these days, doesn't it?

Oooh, the Summer Schoolhouse series! The first one is delightful and I'm looking forward to the remaining ones.

  6. Yep, I drank the Kool-Aide too on that Summer Schoolhouse series. I love me some over one stitching and well...smalls, of course. Looking good!
