We survived our scorching day in Williamsburg thanks to lots of shady trees. We had a nice lunch at the King's Arms Tavern and strolled Duke of Gloucester Street. We took the ferry over to Jamestown from Surrey. Here's the hubbies on the deck!
My Stroll piece today is another Shepherd's Bush, from 2001, called Americana Alphabet. This is one of the small kits that comes with the hand painted mat from Jill Rensel.
Our friends have just left and I'm off to rest....maybe nap! :)
Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

Glad you survived the heat; it sounds like you had a good time. What handsome gentlemen you featured! Another lovely patriotic piece, Stasi. Stay cool! I vote nap.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a successful, fun day! That is a sweet piece.
