Good morning from my happy place and I hope you are having a great morning!
I'm going to do my Stroll post first this morning; I was rushing yesterday and forgot to post a photo of it (thanks Vickie for alerting me). Up today is a tiny piece, Out of the Box, by the Trilogy, stitched in 2001.
On to my retreat here at Salty Yarns. Yesterday was a "play" day for me and I spent some time in the morning on the beach.
Then in the afternoon I went, with a couple friends, to a quilt shop, Serendipity, in Dagsboro DE. it is a wonderful shop, chock full of beautiful fabrics and wools. Here are a few fat quarters I got..... some bee related and a couple tea related.
In the evening, Sara and Sally held a reception for all the attendees and I got my goodie "bag"--- Is this not the greatest???
This was all arranged very nicely in the tin box, but I spread it all out for the photo. The jar contains some sugar scrub -----what fun!!!
Today my class with Betsy is the Bristol Sampler Bag. I am off and running!
Hope you enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

PS Here is a shot of the moon last night...and the picture definitely does not do it justice.

Oh such a wonderful time you are obviously having already! That tin box is so very cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super shot of the moon! They said on the news last night it was a Strawberry Moon. Your stroll piece is cool; really like the frame molding. What a neat box filled with goodies you received! Enjoy your class!
ReplyDeleteYou are having so much fun already Stasi! I wish I was there. Love your stitched piece. And your box of goodies is great. I bet that quilt shop was wonderful from the fabrics you are showing. The bee fabric is super neat...love it!!! Keep having fun. RJ @stitching friends forever
