Today I have two Stroll pieces, both were kits from Bent Creek and stitched in 1998.They came with the 'tuckaway' hangers, so were a quick and easy finish...just stitch and 'tuck' (though I will admit to tacking down the piece along the inside edges)! On the left is Wish Upon a Flake and on the right is Peace.
I completed the stitching on my last ornament for the grands! It is from the JCS 2017 Ornament issue and designed by Samsarah Designs. I left off a checkerboard border and you'll see why when I share the finished product. I did this over one on 26 count Heatherfield. I always loved this fabric with the tiny flecks of color but think it may have been discontinued.
Thanks for stopping by and your "twisted threads" of friendship!

Your Bent Creek pieces are sweet. I like the snowman you stitched up for the grands. I plan to stitch that one sometime myself. It is darling.
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable Bent Creek pieces you shared, Stasi! Your snowman looks darling on the Heatherfield fabric. I do believe it has been discontinued.
ReplyDeleteOh my the Bent Creek designs are so sweet and I love how you did the hangers. And the cute little snowman will be loved by your grandchildren. Anxious to see how it will be finished. RJ
ReplyDeleteHow fun your snowman tipping his hat looks! And the Bent Creek ornies are so cute.
