Stitch Stroll (18)

Up today is My Beekeeper by Jackie du Plessis. This was an online class through Elegant Stitch back in 2006.The whole outside is stitched solid making a silky honeycomb effect (I sure wish I had known Betsy Morgan's way of doing cording when I did this piece). Note the tiny bee "slide" for closure- the ribbon poking out is actually looped onto my scissors.

I got the red band on Beekeeper's Cottage Etui completed last night and started on the windows/doors.
