Greetings my stitching friends!!! It has been a long time since my last post. Since the beginning of 2026, there have been a lot of trips, to and from, Maryland to help out my parents. For those who do not know, my Dad passed away on April 15th at the age of 98. We were able to be there with him and support my Mom. We have been handling all the "paper work" aftermath for my Mom. Luckily, my hubby is very good at handling all this, so he has taken the job on. But, this has involved more trips to Maryland in the last month. Here is one of the last photos of my Dad taken on this past St. Patricks Day.
Throughout all of this, I have been relying on my stitching to provide sanity and distraction. I am stopping by today to share what I've done and add to my ongoing record of my needlework. I always regret letting so much time pass between posts, as it is time consuming to pull it all together. But, it will only be worse if I wait any longer. So please bear with me....here goes!!!
I am not going to list all the pertinent info on each piece...just the facts...., but if you have any questions about particular project, just reach out to me.
First up...Tradewinds Basket by Heartstring Samplery. This was a class at Salty Yarn's Jamboree last October. I added some beads around the top edge and Beth's Husband, Matt, made us the beautiful wooden ruler.
